1/16/07 New Website Feature: Featured Department
On a daily basis I receive 1 or 2 requests to have a fire department
website added to my directory. For the most part they go unnoticed
unless you are browsing that departments' state in the directory. I
have decided to 'Feature' fire departments as they are added to the
directory.

At the top right of the Current News page will be an area
showcasing this 'Featured Department' with their armpatch, name, and
location, providing a link to their website. Clicking on this link
will open their fire department website in a new window.
1/14/07 Attention WFD Members
I have received word that Waterbury FireFighter Brian Barnosky, who
was severely injured in an off-duty one car mva, is healing well and
should not require any surgery. He is receiving physical therapy at

weeks.
