12/3/07 Metal Storm Firefighting Video
Today I found a fascinating video on YouTube showcasing the Metal Storm 'electronically
initiated, stacked projectile' technology paired with Pyrogen Corporation's
'pyrogen condensed aerosol' suppression technology. This video caught my
attention because I have seen the Metal Storm line of explosive munitions
on the Future Weapons tv show and found the technology amazing. The video
is cgi and shows a laser-sighted fire apparatus deploying canisters of
pyrogen at a jumbo jet fire and also at a 9th floor high rise structure
fire. More info can be found at the
Metal Storm and
Pyrogen websites.
