Our brother Allen leaves behind his wife, Lucia, 30, and three children, Ashley, 5, Al Jr. (A.J), 3, and Taylor Paige,
6 months.
The Roslyn Volunteer Fire Department is still reeling from its losses on September 11, 2001, when Assistant Chief Tom
Langone and Firefighter Peter Langone, brothers and 20-year veteran’s of this fire company, were killed in the World
Trade Center terrorist attacks while performing their full time jobs as emergency workers for the City of New York.
Allen will be reposing at McLaughlin, Kramer, Megiel Funeral Home, 220 Glen Street, Glen Cove, NY. Visiting Hours are
Wednesday, March 27, 2002 7-9PM and Thursday, March 28 3-5PM and 7-9PM. Firematic services will be held at the
same location on Thursday, March 28 at 8PM. Funeral Services for Allen will take place at St. Hyacinth’s Church, 319
Cedar Swamp Road, Glen Head on Friday, March 29, 2002 at 9:30AM. Interment to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery,
117 Ryefield Road, Locust Valley.
