Our condolences to the Daley family and the Butler County Fire
District of Rose Hill, Kansas. FireFighter Brandon Daley, 19, a
volunteer with the Butler County Fire District since December of
2006, died Friday May 11, 2007. Brandon was responding in his
personal truck to a fully involved structure fire, when he lost
control of his vehicle and it overturned several times. He was
transported to Kansas Medical Center in Andover and died from
his injuries shortly after.
Brandon was an active member of his community, not only serving
as a volunteer firefighter. He was the President and Lieutenant of
the Rose Hill Police Explorers #2627, the Students Against Drunk
Driving President, and was attending Butler County Community College
to become certified as an EMT and FireFighter I.
Our brother Brandon leaves behind his parents, Larry and Christina,
his sister Candice, and his god-brother Greg. A visitation for Brandon
will be held on Monday May 14, 2007 6-8PM at Watson Funeral Home in
