Our condolences to the Johnson family and the Sedgwick County Fire District
#1 of Wichita, Kansas. Lieutenant Bryon Johnson, 32, an 8 year veteran of
the Sedgwick County Fire District, died Monday September 24, 2007. Bryon was
operating at a grass fire near homes caused by a live wire that was taken down
by a tractor trailer, when he came into contact with the live wire and was
severely shocked. He was transported by helicopter to Christi Regional
Medical Center at St. Francis Campus where he died shortly after.
Our brother Bryon leaves behind his wife and two sons ages (10) and (12).
A funeral service for Bryon will be held on Friday September 28, 2007 10AM
at Central Christian Church in Wichita. Memorial information will be posted
when it is released.
