Our condolences to the Niebergall family and the Red, White, and
Blue Fire Department of Breckenridge, Colorado. FireFighter Barrie
Niebergall, 56, a 23 year veteran firefighter but 2 year member of
the Red, White, and Blue Fire Department died Tuesday March 16,
2004. Barrie was found unconcious and unresponsive on the floor
of the fire station workout room. Efforts to revive him were
unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead shortly after.

Barrie was previously a member of Frisco Fire Department and the
Lake Dillon Fire Department as well as the Red, White, and Blue
Fire Department. Through his career he served as firefighter,
lieutenant, battalion captain and engineer.

Our brother Barrie leaves behind his wife Sharon. A memorial service
for Barrie will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2004 11AM at Summit
High School in Breckenridge. In lieu of flowers, the family and
friends of Barrie request that cash donations be made to:
The fund will be used to provide training opportunities to firefighters
in Summit County and will be administered through the Red, White
and Blue Career Firefighters' Association.
