Our condolences to the Mack family and the New Chester Fire
Department of Grand Marsh, Wisconsin. FireFighter and Department
President Carl Mack, 68, a veteran volunteer firefighter with the
New Chester Fire Department died Tuesday morning April 22, 2003.
Carl collapsed from an apparent heart attack at the scene of a
structure fire. He was transported to Adams County Memorial
Hospital in Frienship where he was pronounced dead.
Carl was a member of the New Chester Volunteer Fire Department
since 1996. Carl was also a member of the Muskego Volunteer Fire
Company for 34 years, being president of the department for 25
years.
Our brother Carl leaves behind his wife Ruth and his children
Diane, Sam, Andy, and Lisa. A funeral service for Carl will be
held Saturday April 26, 2003 4PM at St. Ann’s Catholic Church
in Brooks. Military rites will be offered by the Adams VFW Post
#6279; the Adams American Legion Red Cloud Post #250; and
the Grand Marsh American Legion Snyder-Richardson Post
#273. A visitation for Carl will be held from 1PM until time of
funeral.
Another memorial service will be held for Carl Tuesday April 29,
2003 7PM at Hartson Funeral Home in Hales Corners. A visitation
for Carl will be held Tuesday from 4-8PM at Hartson Funeral Home.
