Fallen Brothers» Coos Bay Collapse
The fire started on the roof with an exhaust chimney at the Far West Truck and Auto Supply on South Second
in downtown Coos Bay. The fire burned for an hour and a half and companies from outlying towns also responded.
Our brother Randall, a 13 year veteran of the Coos Bay Fire Department, had 20 years experience fighting fires.
He leaves behind two adult daughters.
Our brother Jeffrey, a 3 year veteran volunteer with the Coos Bay Fire Department, had 8 years experience
fighting fires. He leaves behind three children.
Our brother Robert, an 8 year veteran volunteer with the Coos Bay Fire Department, had 13 years experience
fighting fires. He leaves behind a wife and 6 children.
A memorial funeral will be held for our three brothers on Sunday December 1, 2002. A procession of firefighters
will begin at noon followed by a memorial service at 2PM at Marshfield Stadium on 10th and Ingersoll in
Coos Bay. For more information email
