Our condolences to the Tackett family and the Flat Gap Fire
Department of Flat Gap, Kentucky. FireFighter Cecil Tackett
Jr., 28, a volunteer with the Flat Gap Fire Department for
four months, died Thursday December 28, 2006. Cecil died as
a result of a motor vehicle accident during activities
connected to a departmental work detail.
Our brother Cecil leaves behind his wife, Jennifer Ferguson, and
two small children, his son Bradley, and his daughter Janelle. A
visitation will be held for Cecil on Friday December 29th 6-9PM,
Saturday December 30th 9AM-9PM, and Sunday December 31st 9AM-1PM.
A funeral will be held for Cecil on Sunday December 31, 2006 1PM
at Phelps & Son Funeral Home in Paintsville. A memorial fund has
