Our condolences to the Cheshire family and the Red Oak Area Volunteer Fire Department of Andalusia, Alabama. FireFighter Dennis Cheshire, 48, a 4 year veteran of the Red Oak Area Volunteer Fire Department, died Sunday May 20, 2007. Dennis was responding to structure fire as mutual aid for the Libertyville Volunteer Fire Department when the tanker he was driving left the roadway and overturned while negotiating a sharp left turn on County Road 32.

     Our brother Dennis leaves behind his wife, Kay and his two adult children, Jeremiah and Jessica. A funeral was held for Dennis on Tuesday May 22, 2007 at the Red Oak Baptist Church in Andalusia followed by a burial in Red Oak Cemetery.
