Our condolences to the Hubbel family and the Baltimore City
Fire Department of Maryland. Captain Donald Hubbel, 42, a
14 year veteran of the Baltimore City Fire Department, died
Friday February 1, 2008. Donald had participated in strenuous
fire rescue company training activities at the fire academy on
Thursday January 31, 2007. The following day at his residence
he suffered an apparent heart attack while working out.
Our brother Donald leaves behind his wife Diane, his daughters
Amanda and Tabitha, and his step-sons Nicholas, Michael and Andrew.
A visitation for Donald will be held on Monday February 4th and
Tuesday February 5, 2008 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Schimunek Funeral Home
of Bel Air Inc. A funeral for Donald will be held on Wednesday
February 6, 2008 11AM at Mountain Christian Church in Joppa,
followed by internment at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in
Timonium. A memorial fund has been established and donations
