Our condolences to the Souza family and the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons, Massachusetts Volunteer Fire Department. Captain Donald "Snuffy" Souza, 64, a 31 year veteran volunteer firefighter of the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Volunteer Fire Department died May 30, 2001. Donald suffered a severe electrical shock from a residential alarm system at a structure fire December 23, 1995. He received electrical burns to his hand and has had some cardiac problems from the shock which forced his early retirement, and resulted in his death five years later.
