Our condolences to the Stephenson family and the Angier Fire Department
of Angier, North Carolina. FireFighter Earl Stephenson, 61, a 21 year
veteran of the Angier Fire Department, died Wednesday May 9, 2007. Earl
responded to a structure fire on Tuesday evening but did not perform
firefighting duties. Fifteen hours later, working at the North Carolina
State Museum of History & Natural Sciences, Earl suffered a heart attack
and died.
Our brother Earl is survived by his two sisters. A visitation for Earl
will be held Saturday May 12, 2007 6-8PM at Bryan Lee Funeral Home in
Angier. A funeral will be held for Earl on Sunday May 13, 2007 2PM at
Angier Baptist Church followed by a burial at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
