Our condolences to the Weber family and the Elkhart Lake Fire
Department of Wisconsin. Fire Chief Edward Weber, 56, a 33
year veteran with the the Elkhart Lake Fire Department died
Sunday April 13, 2003. Edward was operating at the scene of
a grass fire in Sheboygan County near Little ELkhart Lake when
he collapsed and died from an apparent heart attack.
Edward was a member of the Eastern Wisconsin Fire Chief’s
Association. Edward joined the Elkhart Fire Department in 1970
and became Fire Chief in 1993. The Weber family has maintained
the Elkhart Lake Fireman's Park since 1995.
Our brother Edward leaves behind his wife, Alice, his daughters,
Ann, Julie and Sarah, and his son, Jeff. A visitation will be held
for Edward on Wednesday April 16, 2003 3-8PM and Thurdsday
8-10AM at St. Thomas Acquinas Church in Elkhart Lake. A funeral
will be held for Edward on Thursday April 17, 2003 10:30AM at
St. Thomas Acquinas Church.
