Our condolences to the Nuber family and the Erie Fire Department of Pennsylvania. FireFighter John Nuber, 56, a 34 year
veteran of the Erie Fire Department died Saturday April 27, 2002. John was relieved of duty shortly after he reported for
work when he complained of feeling ill. Soon after returning home he complained of chest pains and EMS was alerted.
Before EMS arrived John had suffered cardiac arrest and medics were unable to revive him.
Our brother John leaves behind a wife Janice and two daughters, Andrea and Tara. A wake was held at the Burton Funeral
Home in Erie on Monday April 29, 2002 2-4PM and 7-9PM with a service held Tuesday April 30, 2002 11AM. Interment will
be in Erie Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to:
