Our condolences to the Periera family and the Guam Fire Department. FireFighter James Periera, 41, a 15 year veteran of the Guam Fire Department died Thursday January 9, 2003. James was resting at the Agat Fire Station when he began having seizures. He was transported to Guam Naval Hospital where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy is to determine his cause of death but it is believed that he died from cardiac arrest.

     Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Friday January 17, 2003 at Mongmong Catholic Church of Nuestra Senora De Las Aguas. More information will be posted when it is released.
