Our condolences to the Wach family and the Wymore Fire Department
of Nebraska. FireFighter Jeremy Wach, 31, a 4 year veteran of the
Wymore Fire Department, died Monday November 5, 2007. Jeremy was
performing search and rescue for a mother and two children trapped
in an early morning residential structure fire when the roof
collapsed, trapping him and injuring two other firefighters. Jeremy
was pronounced at the scene. The mother and children were rescued
unharmed.
Jeremy was a Deputy with the Gage County Sheriff's Office and the
Administrator of the Gage County Jail. Our brother Jeremy leaves
behind his wife Melissa and his two small sons Joseph and Matthew.
A visitation for Jeremy will be held on Wednesday November 7, 2007
7-9PM and Thursday November 8, 2007 7-9PM at Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral
Home in Wymore. A funeral service for Jeremy will be held on Friday
November 9, 2007 1PM at the Christ Community Church in Beatrice. A
