Kenneth Jeffery
Our condolences to the Jeffery family, the Windsor Locks Fire
Department, and the Groton Submarine Base Fire Department
of Connecticut. Fire Chief Kenneth Jeffery, 51, a 30 year veteran
of the Windsor Locks Fire Department died Wednesday December
31, 2003. Kenneth collapsed from a ruptured aorta at the Groton
Submarine Base Fire Department on Thursday December 25, 2003.
He was treated at a local hospital and then airlifted to Hartford
Hospital. He remained in intensive care until he died days later.
Kenneth was the Fire Chief in Windsor Locks and Assistant Chief
(Shift Commander) at the Groton Submarine Base Fire Department.
Our brother Kenneth leaves behind his wife Kathy and his son Tim
(19). Calling hours for Kenneth will be held on Friday January 2,
2004 4-7PM at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapel in Enfield. A mass
of christian burial will be held for Kenneth on Saturday January 3,
2004 10AM at Saint Mary Church in Windsor Locks followed by a
burial at Saint Mary Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established
and donations can be made to:
