Our condolences to the Weisbrich family and the Melrose Fire Department
of Melrose, Minnesota. Probationary FireFighter Kyle Weisbrich, 22, a
probie since February, died Sunday November 12, 2006. Kyle was responding
on his personal motorcyle to Melrose Fire Hall for a motor vehicle call,
when he was unable to stop, and struck another vehicle at an intersection.
He was transported to Melrose Area Hospital but succumbed to his injuries
several hours later.
Kyle graduated from Melrose High School in 2003 and attended St. Cloud
Technical College for FireFighter I & II and was a Minnesota State
Registered Emergency Medical Technician.
Our brother Kyle leaves behind his parents, Cindy and Duane Weisbrich, and
his brother Justin. A visitation will be held for Kyle on Friday November
17, 2006 3:30-9PM at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose and on Saturday
November 18, 2006 from 9:30-11AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held for Kyle on Saturday November 18,
2006 11AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose followed by internment
in the parish cemetery. A memorial fund has been established and donations
