Annes Family Fund
Michael Peter Annes, 40, of Engine Company 7 of the Waterbury, CT Fire Department, lost his life in an off-duty accident on September 21, 2000.
Michael was a carpenter by trade and was doing roofing work to supplement his regular income. He fell from the roof of the house he was
working on and died shortly upon arrival at Torrington Hospital. Mike was a one year veteran of the Waterbury Fire Department. Because he was
only on the job for one year, his family is not entitled to any pension or health insurance benefits. Our brother Mike left a wife, Jamie, and two
children, Stephanie (6) and Christopher (7). Some of Mikes' friends with the department are trying to raise money to offset some of the family’s
financial burden. Memorial T-Shirts
are available and will be sold for ten dollars each, with the proceeds going to help pay for his children’s needs.
We have also set up an account with our credit union, to which
people can make donations. If you’re interested in making a contribution please feel free to contact me by the means listed below. We all thank
you for any support you might lend.
