Our condolences to the Duhon family and the Clute Fire Department
of Texas. Roy Duhon, 49, a 20 year veteran of the Clute Fire
Department died Sunday October 26, 2003. Roy died of an apparent
heart attack in the evening.
Roy was an 11 year veteran of the Clute Police Department and a
20 year veteran of the Clute Fire Department, serving 13 years as
a fire marshal.
Our brother Roy leaves behind his wife Rita, his daughters Jennifer
and Arista, and his adopted son Robert. A visitation will eb held for
Roy on Tuesday October 28, 2003 6-8PM at Lakewood Funeral
Chapel. A funeral will be held for Roy on Wednesday October 29,
2003 10AM at First Baptist Church in Clute followed by a burial at
Restwood Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for Clute
Fire Department Training Purposes and donations can be made to:
