Our condolences to the Hill family and the Screven County Fire
Department of Georgia. Battalion Chief Randy Hill, 43, a 15 year
veteran volunteer with the Screven County Fire Department died
Monday April 7, 2003. Randy collapsed and died from an apparent
heart attack after completing his monthly physical fitness training.
Randy was transported to Screven County Hospital where he was
pronounced dead.
A visitation for Randy will be held Tuesday April 8, 2003 7-9PM at
Thompson, Strickland, Waters Funeral Home in Sylvania. A funeral
will be held for Randy on Wednesday April 9, 2003 4PM in the
Chapel at Thompson, Strickland, Waters Funeral Home in Sylvania.
A burial will follow at Screven Memorial Cemetery in Sylvania with
honorary pallbearers from the Screven County Fire Department. A
