Our condolences to the Prouty family and the Country Lakes Fire
Company of New Jersey. Fire Chief Roy Prouty, 39, a 9 year veteran
of the Country Lakes Fire Company died Thursday October 30,
2003. Roy was helping load an mva victim onto a helicopter when
he collapsed from an apparent heart attack. He was transported to
Virtua-Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly where he later died.
Our brother Roy leaves behind his wife Angela and three young
children. A viewing will be held for Roy on Tuesday November 4,
2003 6-9PM at Country Lakes Fire Company. A funeral will be held
for Roy on Wednesday November 5, 2003 11AM with burial at
Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
