Our condolences to the Diorio family and the Maine Fire Company of the Coal Township Fire Department of
Pennsylvania. Lieutenant Timothy Diorio, 36, a volunteer with the Maine Fire Company and a Pensylvania
State Trooper died Thursday October 31, 2002. Timothy was killed in a building collapse at a late night
structure fire in Zerbe Township.
Timothy was a 6 year veteran Trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police and was stationed at the Selinsgrove
Barracks. Additional companies from Sunbury, East Cameron, Shamokin and Stonington also responded to the
structure fire on West Shamokin Street.
Our brother Timothy leaves behind his wife Tracy. Viewing for Timothy is to be held Tuesday November 5,
2002 5-9PM at Shamokin High School. A funeral will be held on Wednesday November 6, 2002 11AM at Shamokin
