Volunteer Fire Department of Spring City, Tennessee. Assistant
Captain Theresa Lynn, 38, a member of the Luminary-Frostbite
Volunteer Fire Department for six months, died Friday December
21, 2007. Theresa was responding to a motor vehicle rollover in
her personal vehicle. While responding in rain and fog conditions,
she lost control of her vehicle on Summer City Road atop Waldens
Ridge and left the roadway before striking a tree. She succumbed
to her injuries at the scene.
Theresa had spent three weeks organizing a toy drive for 40 needy
kids in the Luminary community and wrapped all the toys herself.
She died one day before the gift giving party.
Our sister Theresa leaves behind her two sons Ronald and Joshua
Kauffman. A funeral service for Theresa will be held on Monday
December 24, 2007 10AM at the Pikeville Funeral Home in Pikeville.
