54, a veteran with the Stamford Fire Department, died Wednesday, September 19, 2001. William died from heart failure
as a complication from Hepatitus C he was infected with in the line of duty.
William served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Union Baptist Church in Stamford.
Visitation hours will be held Tuesday, September 25, 11AM to noon at the Union Baptist Church, 805 Newfield Avenue,
Stamford. A funeral service will follow at noon at the church. Burial will follow in Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Stamford.
