Our condolences to the Ramsey family and the Connellsville Township Volunteer Fire Department of Pennsylvania. FireFighter William Ramsey, 42, a volunteer firefighter with the Connellsville Township Volunteer Fire Department died Tuesday September 9, 2003. William suffered a heart attack after returning from a call. He was rushed to Mercy Hospital where he later died.

     William was stationed at Station No. 7 of the Connellsville Township Volunteer Fire Department and was also a member of the Fayette County Hazmat Team.

     Our brother William leaves behind his wife, Rita, and his daughter Annabeth. A visitation will be held for William on Thurday September 11, 2003 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Brooks Funeral Home in Connellsville. A funeral service will be held for William on Friday September 12, 2003 11AM at Brooks Funeral Home followed by a burial in Green Ridge Memorial Park in Pennsville. A Fire Service Memorial will be held on Thursday September 11, 2003 8PM at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established and donations can be made to:
